Adult

Our goal in the Adult Ministry at First Baptist Cross Hill is simply to lead people to be more like Christ every day and centers around Ephesians 4:13: "...In the unity of common faith, and knowledge of the Son of God, we arrive at real maturity - the measure of development which is meant by the fullness of Christ." In this realm, each member belongs to a Sunday School class, where emphasis is placed on growing warmer through fellowship, deeper through discipleship, stronger through worship, broader though ministry and larger through evangelism. Outstanding Christ-centered Bible study and ministries are offered for young adults and median age adults. Special events are regularly available for the life challenges that confront this age group. In addition to family activities, small group Bible studies and recreational activities for adult men and women are offered throughout the year.

Women on Mission is a missions organization for women ages 18 and up through which women pray for and give to missions, do missions, learn about missions, grow spiritually toward a missions lifestyle and participate in the work of the church and the denomination.

The purpose of all Women on Missions’ activities is for every person to have the opportunity to hear and respond to the gospel.

FBC Men's Ministries strive to reach more men with a comprehensive Men's Ministries strategy because leadership for men is not an option; It's what God created us for and called us to do.

The Men's Ministries at FBC strives to assist the church in the fulfillment of the Great Commandment and Great Commission by seeking to involve men and boys in missions through education and personal involvement, so that everybody will have an opportunity to know Jesus.

Our Men's Ministry helps men commit to become men who:

  • Seek their place in God’s mission of reconciliation;

  • Adjust their life by learning mission skills to become more effective in God’s mission;

  • Use Mission skills in personal mission fields where they live and work;

  • Partner with other Christians to fulfill the Great Commission around the world

    Our Men and Women ministries meet on the First Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm.  Following a meal in the social hall at 5:30.
